Terms of Service

Version 3.2 · Last updated: October 18, 2026

Welcome to iViron (“iViron,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). iViron is operated by iViron Tracker App Ltd., located at 200–101 West 16th Street, North Vancouver, BC V7M 1T3. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the iViron website, mobile app, and any related services we offer (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Your privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

1. What iViron is

iViron is a patient-facing tracking tool for people receiving iron infusions or otherwise managing iron deficiency. The Service lets you log infusions, record symptoms, view your bloodwork trends, and receive general information related to your iron-deficiency care.

What iViron is for. iViron is intended to help you keep a record of your iron infusions, bloodwork and symptoms, remind you of appointments and tests, and share that record with the clinic your account is connected to, if any. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and it does not decide anything about your care — those decisions are made by you and your clinician.

iViron is offered as a supportive tool to help you and your clinician work together. Using it does not create a doctor-patient relationship between you and iViron Tracker App Ltd. (beyond any relationship you already have with a clinician at your clinic).

2. Eligibility

You may use the Service if you are at least 15 years old. If you are between 15 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed these Terms with you. If you are under 15, you may not create an account; if you believe an account has been created for someone under 15, please contact us at welcome@iviron.ca and we will remove it.

You do not need to be a patient of any clinic to use iViron. Anyone can sign up to track their own iron care. Some features — for example booking an infusion, or sharing your record with a care team — are only available through a participating clinic. Signing up does not make you a patient of any clinic or doctor.

3. Your account

We use a passwordless sign-in system: you authenticate with a one-time code sent to your email, or with a third-party provider (such as Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple). You are responsible for keeping the email account or provider account you use to sign in secure, including its password and any two-factor authentication.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account (including a real first name) and to keep that information up to date. You may not share your account, allow another person to log in as you, or create an account on someone else’s behalf without their consent.

Notify us promptly at welcome@iviron.ca if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

Accounts your clinic sets up for you. Where your own doctor has referred you into the program and a nurse takes your intake over the phone, they may create your iViron account during that call so your answers have somewhere to go. You are not treated as having agreed to these Terms at that moment. The first time you sign in we ask you to confirm your name and to accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy, and your iron tracker does not open until you do. Your settings pages — including deleting your account — remain reachable before you accept, so you are never locked out of leaving. If you would rather not have an account at all, tell your clinic or email welcome@iviron.ca and we will delete it.

4. Free early access and future pricing

iViron is currently offered as free early access. Every patient gets the full tracking features at no charge, with no end date set. No payment information is required.

We may introduce paid plans in the future. If we do, we will tell you at least 30 days before anything changes for you, and you will never be charged unless you choose a paid plan yourself.

If you already started a paid subscription before free early access began, it continues on the terms you accepted until you cancel it. You can cancel any time from your account settings. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not refund the current billing period unless we say otherwise or unless required by applicable consumer-protection law.

The features included in iViron may change as the Service evolves.

5. Reminder emails and other communications

We send certain operational messages by default, such as one-time sign-in codes, billing receipts, important product or security notices, and replies to messages you send us. You cannot opt out of these because they are necessary to operate the Service.

Other communications — such as care reminders, educational content, or product updates — are opt-in. You can manage your preferences for these at any time from /settings in the app, and every marketing-style email includes an unsubscribe link, in line with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

Text messages. If you agree to receive text messages, we send appointment reminders and account notifications, usually 2–4 a month, and never marketing. Message and data rates may apply. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of treatment or of receiving care. Reply STOP at any time to stop messages, or HELP for help. The number is automated and is not monitored: for medical advice call 811, and in an emergency call 911. Details are on our SMS Messaging Consent page.

Reminders can be late or missed. Emails and texts depend on phone networks, email providers and other services outside our control, and a reminder may arrive late or not at all. Reminders are a convenience: you remain responsible for keeping your appointments and getting your bloodwork done on time.

Booking appointments. Where the clinic your account is connected to offers booking through iViron, booking a time reserves it with that clinic; it does not guarantee that you will receive an infusion. Your clinic decides whether a treatment is right for you and may need to move or cancel an appointment — for example if your referral or bloodwork is not ready. If you cannot make an appointment, please cancel or change it as early as you can, using the link or app or by contacting the clinic. The clinic’s own policies on cancellations and missed appointments apply.

6. Medical disclaimer — please read carefully

iViron is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The information you log, the trends and charts the Service shows you, and any educational content we provide are for informational and self-tracking purposes only.

Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified healthcare professional with any questions you may have about a medical condition or treatment. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have seen on iViron.

If you think you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency services immediately — do not use iViron to communicate the emergency.

Any predictions, alerts, or suggestions the Service displays (for example, ferritin trend lines or symptom flags) are estimates based on the data you have entered. They are not a clinical assessment, are not a substitute for bloodwork or examination, and should be reviewed with your clinician before being relied on for any decision about your care.

Numbers you enter yourself — for example bloodwork results you type in or scan — are not checked by a nurse or doctor unless your clinic confirms them, and anything the Service shows you is only as accurate as the information it was given.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated breaches of this section, with or without notice.

8. Your data and content

You retain ownership of the personal health information you enter into the Service (for example, your bloodwork results, symptom check-ins, and infusion logs). By using the Service, you grant iViron Tracker App Ltd. a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, and display that information for the sole purpose of operating the Service for you, supporting your care at the participating clinic your account is connected to, if any, and complying with our legal obligations. We do not use your personal health information to advertise to you or sell it to third parties, and we do not currently use it to train AI models. If that ever changes, we will ask you first, separately and optionally, and you will be able to say no or change your mind later. The data-handling rules are set out in detail in our Privacy Policy.

Artificial intelligence. Some parts of iViron use artificial intelligence — for example, to help a nurse write up your intake call, or to read a referral or lab result into a form. What it produces is checked by a person (a nurse at your clinic, or you) before it is saved to your record, and it can make mistakes. Which services we use, and where they process your information, is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Research. We may ask whether you would like to help other iron patients by letting your information be used for research. Saying yes is optional and separate from these Terms, saying no does not change your care or the Service, and you can change your answer at any time from /settings/consents.

You can export or delete your data at any time from /settings/data or by contacting our Privacy Officer. Deletion is governed by the retention rules described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Privacy

Our handling of your personal information is governed by the Privacy Policy. We collect, use, and disclose personal information in accordance with the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

The Privacy Policy is the authoritative document on what we collect, how we use it, where we store it, who we share it with, and how long we keep it. If anything in these Terms appears to conflict with the Privacy Policy on a privacy question, the Privacy Policy controls.

10. Service availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service running reliably, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be available, free of errors, secure against every attack, or that any specific feature will continue to be offered. We may add, change, or remove features at any time, particularly during the early stages of the product. We may also perform scheduled maintenance.

If we make a material change that meaningfully reduces the value of a paid feature you are subscribed to, we will let you know in advance and offer you a reasonable option (for example, a downgrade or a pro-rated refund), as described in section 4.

11. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account and your data, follow the steps at /settings/data or contact our Privacy Officer.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, if your account is inactive for an extended period, if we are required to by law or by the participating clinic your account is connected to, or if continuing to provide the Service to you would put you or others at risk. Where reasonable, we will give you notice and an opportunity to address the issue first.

Sections that, by their nature, are intended to survive termination — including the medical disclaimer (section 6), data-and-content terms (section 8), disclaimers and limitation of liability (section 12), indemnity (section 13), and governing law (section 14) — will continue to apply after your account is closed.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, iViron Tracker App Ltd. makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the Service, including without limitation any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will iViron Tracker App Ltd., its directors, officers, employees, contractors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. iViron Tracker App Ltd.’s total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising out of or in connection with the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid iViron Tracker App Ltd. for the Service in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) CAD $100.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including consumer-protection statutes and any liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or negligence causing personal injury or death.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless iViron Tracker App Ltd. and its directors, officers, employees, and contractors from and against any third-party claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your misuse of the Service; or (c) your violation of any law or the rights of a third party. We will give you prompt notice of any such claim, and you may participate in the defence at your own expense; we will not settle any such claim in a way that admits fault on your part without your consent.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable in British Columbia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts located in Vancouver, British Columbia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service, and you and iViron Tracker App Ltd. both consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Before filing a claim, please contact us at welcome@iviron.ca — many issues can be resolved quickly without going through a formal dispute. Nothing in this section limits your rights under any applicable consumer-protection law that cannot be waived by contract.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as the Service evolves or as the law requires. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, we will give you reasonable advance notice (for example, by email or an in-app notice) before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of an update means you accept the updated Terms; if you do not agree, you should stop using the Service before that date.
